Role

Travel/Contract Labor and Delivery RN in Pinehurst, North Carolina
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
13-week contract
19-bed unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
AWHONN Intermediate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Proficiency in vaginal exams
Competent in Management of Second Stage
Must be comfortable with transitioning newborns in labor and delivery
Floating to postpartum/mother baby
Must not reside in Moore County

First-time travelers accepted

BLS
State license verification
NURSYS verification
Color blind testing
Competency exam
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam

Negative TB or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire if history of past positive
Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella documentation
10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
Two clinical references
