Job Overview

• Location: Columbia, Missouri

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1.5 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI certification

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Charge nurse and supervisor are on every shift
• Typical ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights, with occasional increases to 1:6 on days and 1:7 on nights
• Must work 50% of holidays during the contract
• Rotating shifts, weekends, call, and inclement weather coverage may be required

Physical Demands

• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Role involves regular contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
