Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 4x12 hours
Hours per week: 48
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
Driver's License

Schedule / Assignment Details

On-call as needed
Weekend coverage as needed
First-time travelers are not accepted
Local candidates are not accepted; 100-mile radius rule applies
Block scheduling is not routinely accommodated, though weekend block may be considered during interview
RTO must be submitted at time of application

Additional Notes

Team nursing model with support from PCC, LPN, and others
Large hospital experience is preferred
