Overview
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience. The role involves performing interventional radiology procedures using Siemens imaging equipment. Normal business hours with a rotating day off and call requirements apply.
Schedule
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday (10-hour shifts)
- Rotating day off during the week
- Call Requirements:
- One primary weekday and one backup weekday per month
- One weekend call every 6 weeks (alternating primary or backup)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures safely and effectively
- Operate Siemens imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records (EPIC preferred)
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including FBI and BCI fingerprinting (Ohio-specific code 3701.881)
- Monthly monitoring through EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG databases
- Education accreditation verification required immediately after contract signing
- Pending background check attestation required if fingerprint results are pending
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending drug screens allowed)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
- Immunizations and health documentation required:
- Tdap vaccine (adult dose after age 11/12)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- TB questionnaire in lieu of annual TB test renewal
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or 3-vaccine series (declination acceptable)
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer (medical exemptions require documentation)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31)
- COVID-19 vaccination not required but strongly recommended
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references required; at least one must be from a manager or formal leader
- Employment application required, including education verification for nursing candidates
- Skills checklist required
- Annual acknowledgment of dress code and hand hygiene policies
- Annual completion of orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate required prior to start and updated annually
- Compliance with ethics and compliance policies, reviewed and signed annually
