Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in Kentucky
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • NIHSS
  • ENPC or PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Work Expectations

  • No trauma level I experience is required
  • First-time travelers with level I ER experience are accepted
  • Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted
  • Requests for time off longer than 1 week are generally not approved unless there is a special circumstance
