Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift Details

Night shift primarily (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)
May include some mid/day shifts based on staffing needs
Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Unit & Patient Details

Emergency Room (ER) with Trauma and Adult Emergency focus
Bed count: 21
Average daily census: 140 patients
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
Charting system: Epic
Scrub color: Blue Navy

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with adult patients
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
Harassment Prevention Training Certificate (California mandated)
