Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois and Iowa.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, tracheostomies, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines.
• Familiarity with medication titration including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Work history/resume.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
• License verification.
• Required certifications.
• One supervisory reference at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac and open heart experience.
• Completion of at least one prior travel nursing contract.

Additional Information

• Not eligible if employed by the facility within the last 12 months.
• Call back pay and holiday/overtime multipliers apply.
• Facility is a Level 1 trauma center.
• Orientation schedule provided for planning purposes.
