Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Hours per Day: 10
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Prepare patients for CT exams, explain procedures, ensure patient comfort, and take medical histories.
• Operate and set up CT scanners, adjust technical parameters for optimal image quality.
• Administer contrast dye intravenously or orally to enhance imaging.
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols, including use of shielding devices.
• Collaborate with radiologists to confirm image quality and assist in emergency situations such as trauma cases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Must be licensed and certified as a CT Technologist.

Additional Information

• Orientation for allied travelers starts on Tuesdays.
• On-call pay applies with a minimum of 1 hour.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted travel rate.
• Non-compete policy: Former direct employees of the facility are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
