Job Description

  • Perform professional Occupational Therapy activities under general supervision.
  • Plan, evaluate, establish, and implement individual and group treatment activities based on physician’s referral.
  • Evaluate patients in areas such as independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills, and psychosocial skills.
  • Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals, including frequency and duration of treatment.
  • Assist patients by designing and fabricating adaptive equipment and orthotic devices, and instruct on joint protection and body mechanics.
  • Inform patients and families about goals and progress.
  • Assist with discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patients on home therapy plans.
  • May supervise students.

Shift & Hours

  • Acute and trauma experience required.
  • Travel experience preferred but not required.
  • 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
