RN Transplant Unit

Overview

• Location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina
• Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p
• Schedule: No weekends, no holidays, no call, no OT
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Clinical Nurse responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care in a hospital setting.
• Unit focus includes Heart, Lung, Kidney, Liver, Pancreas, and Infusion.
• Duties include meds, vaccines, triage, and infusion.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Transplant experience within the last year
• 1 year of transplant experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting
• 1 year of experience in an ambulatory setting
• Infusion experience
• Oncology experience

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Oncology Infusion and/or Infusion experience
• Outpatient and/or transplant experience
