• Prescott Valley, Arizona

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Holiday rotation
• May be placed on standby if census is low

Unit Overview

• Mixed adult and pediatric medical-surgical unit
• 10 beds
• Primary care unit with telemetry for adult MST patients
• May float to the MCU or MST unit for adult MST care
• May also cross-train and float to the birthing unit for mom-baby couplets
• If experienced in labor and delivery, may float there as well

Patient Population

• Adult and pediatric patients
• Adult surgical, medical, telemetry, and pediatric cases
• Must be willing to care for both adults and children

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• Experience working with children
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before signing the contract

Additional Notes

• No feeding tubes, trachs, or vents on the pediatric side
• Navy scrubs required
