Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - SICU

Location

Charlottesville, Virginia

Contract Length

13 weeks

Unit Description

Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
15-bed, fast-paced, Level 1 facility
Adult critical care patients (surgical and trauma)

Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
36 hours per week
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
Time off: 40 hours can be approved; no return to office (RTO) approval for Memorial Day weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
