Job Opportunity: Oncology Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Frederick, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work on a 12-bed unit specializing in Oncology, Thoracic, and Bariatric surgery.
- Shift: Night shift, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM).
- Patient ratio typically 1:4, may be 1:5 depending on acuity.
- Every other weekend required; no on-call duties.
- Floating to med/surg/tele units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Minimum of 1 year of Oncology experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

- Located about an hour from Baltimore and Washington DC, offering a suburban lifestyle with access to city amenities and historic sites.
- Facility provides login information for required online learning modules 24-48 hours after contract signing; modules take 4-5 hours and must be completed at least 1 week prior to start.
- Candidates must complete all required testing and modules before orientation; no reimbursement for time spent on modules.
- Fit mask testing required prior to start (specific mask types mandated).
