Job Overview

Role: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (10:30 AM–9:00 PM)
First-time travelers: Accepted

Schedule & Work Expectations

On-call required: 2 call shifts per month
Weekend work: Up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
Holiday coverage: At least one holiday period required
Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs, including floating between like units/sister facilities

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Radiation Badge

Preferred Experience

Scrub experience

Additional Notes

The role is in a Level I trauma, teaching, Magnet-designated environment
EPIC is used for charting
Scrub color is provided
Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
Travelers should be aware they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
