Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Midland, Texas
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 16 weeks
• Start date: late October or early November considered
• Minimum 13 weeks considered

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• NIHSS

Role Details

• RN will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition
• No post-partum

Certifications / Training

• ACLS must be AHA; Instructor, Provider, and RQI acceptable
• BLS must be AHA; Instructor, Provider, and RQI acceptable
• NRP required for Antepartum and L&D
• NIH Stroke Certification required for all clinical positions
• Competency exam within 1 year of start
• Age-specific competency exam within 1 year of start
• Skills checklist updated annually

Notes

• N95 fit test required within 1 year of start
• Facility will not accept PAPR
