Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Kinston, North Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- No call
- No block scheduling
- No local travelers within 50 miles
- Candidates will not interview
- Orientation: 24 hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- CPI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Job Details
- Emergency department with 34 beds
- Serves neonates through geriatrics
- Average volume is about 100 ED visits per day
- Uses Epic and Pyxis
- ED provider coverage includes MD/PA
- Triage area and telemetry are available
- May involve conscious sedation
- Traveler may be expected to float to like acuities or lower if needed
- Charge role is preferred but not required

- Include requested time off in the submission for it to be honored at offer time
