Overview

• Travel/contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Every other weekend required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (1.5 years of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NBRC

Work Expectations

• Floating required between Methodist, University, Fishers, and Morgan locations

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

• Written confirmation that the traveler is comfortable with the every other weekend requirement
• State license verification within 30 days of start
• Unit competency exam
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Color blind testing
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire
• Drug screen within 12 months of start
• References from recent employment
• Employment application with all gaps explained
• Skills checklist within 12 months of start
• Background check and required exclusion/sanction screenings
• Immunization or immunity documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and flu
• HIPAA/orientation safety acknowledgement and facility-specific onboarding documents

• Mandatory RRT modules apply for this assignment and must be completed before orientation
• On-site PAPR is automatically approved at Methodist and University locations
