Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Portland, Oregon
- Night shift: 3x12, 18:45–7:15
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- No call
- Unit-based support includes NICU, PICU, emergency department, and pediatric & adult acute/intermediate care wards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Oregon
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- EPIC experience
Role Summary
- Pediatric Respiratory Care Practitioner providing bedside respiratory care and diagnostic procedures
- Duties include airway management, therapeutic gases, ventilator management, newborn resuscitation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, arterial blood sampling, bedside spirometry, spontaneous ventilatory parameters, and point-of-care testing
