Overview

• Travel/contract role in Apple Valley, California
• Acute care setting
• Start: ASAP
• Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke Foundation

Schedule Notes

• Weekend requirement not specified
• Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
• RTO must be included at time of submission
• Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

• ER, geriatrics, ICU, medical-surgical, orthopedics
• AROM/AAROM/PROM
• Assistive devices, body mechanics, pain assessment, skin integrity, strength testing, vital signs
• Discharge planning, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, short-term goals
• Call lights, crutches, gait belt, hospital bed, standard walker, supplemental O2
• COPD, CHF, CABG, MI
• Gait training
• Hip fractures/injuries, knee injuries/tendinopathy, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, post-stroke rehabilitation
