Medical Technologist

Role Overview

Travel/Contract laboratory assignment in San Angelo, Texas.
Night shift: 5x8 hours, 22:30–7:00.
40 hours per week.
Contract length: 12 weeks.
Rotating weekends.

Required Qualifications

Medical Technologist experience within the last year.
1 year of Medical Technologist experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, or a related field.
Experience in the blood bank.

Preferred Qualifications

AMT certification preferred.
Epic experience preferred.
Atellica experience preferred.
Additional preferred experience in:
- Chemistry
- Hematology
- Microbiology
- Immunology
- Urinalysis/Body Fluids
- Experience in the U.S., Canada, or an accredited laboratory

Additional Notes

Facility-specific orientation and compliance forms are required before start.
Fit testing is required within 6 months prior to start.
Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination is required during flu season.
