Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Scheduled two shifts every other weekend
• On-call: 12 hours on weekends and 20 hours on weekdays in a 4-week period, with a 30-minute response time

Required Qualifications

• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
• 3 years of CVOR Technologist experience
• BLS
• Experience in a hospital setting
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience
• Orthopedic Technologist experience
• Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrub Tech certification preferred
• Approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills through on-the-job training

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care duties and unit support in the operating room suite
• Assist with dressings and/or cast application at the end of procedures
• Pick cases following physician preference cards
• Maintain count accuracy and instrument tray accountability
• Update surgeon preference cards per site-specific processes
• Support process improvement, cost containment suggestions, and teaching
• Work additional or different shifts when requested
