• 12-hour shifts

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist experience
• Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• Competency in portable radiography

Key Job Duties

• Perform general diagnostic radiology exams
• Verify patient identity and relevant history
• Confirm pregnancy status before administering ionizing radiation
• Assess patient condition and determine whether additional medical personnel or equipment is needed
• Ensure patient safety
• Review orders, images, and demographic information for accuracy
• Document procedures and completion status in the required systems
• Transmit and verify images in PACS
• Maintain image management equipment and report equipment problems
• Work with portable imaging equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Additional Notes

• Must be able to troubleshoot work unit problems related to equipment and protocols
• Shares knowledge with employees and students in the work unit
