Overview

• Travel/contract role in Melbourne, Florida
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:15–17:45
• Monday to Friday with rotating evening/weekend call
• 13-week contract
• First-timers accepted
• Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Guaranteed contracted hours

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Florida
• Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT
• Experience with X-ray
• Experience with cardiac stent placement
• Experience with G-tube placement
• Experience with central line placement
• Experience with chemotherapy administration
• Experience with IV contrast injection
• Experience with portables
• Experience with Xper
• Experience with Philips imaging equipment
• EMT / ER Technician experience
• Flu vaccine required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT advanced
• Fluoro Permit
• Epic experience

Schedule and Call

• Weekend work required
• Holiday work required
• On-call required
• Rotating evening/weekend call with a 30-minute response time for emergent procedures
• Call is approximately 33% of the month
• Weekday call runs from about 17:45 to 07:15
• Weekend call starts after the shift ends on Saturday; Sunday is call only
• Weekend call begins the first week and then follows an every-other-weekend pattern

Float Scope

• May float within scope based on unit needs
• May be asked to float to sister facilities

• Interventional Radiology
• IR/INR labs
• Level II Adult trauma center
• Acute care hospital
• 514 staffed beds

Other Notes

• Pending license not accepted
• RTO must be finalized with submission and is not accepted after offer
• Any solid-colored scrubs are allowed, but top and bottom must match; no logos or prints
• Charting system: Allscripts
• Free parking with decal, given at orientation
