Overview

  • Travel/Contract RN role in Auburn, New York
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
  • 36 hours per week
  • LDRP setting
  • Local travelers within 50 miles receive a lower bill rate than the travel rate

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Post Partum experience within the last year
  • 2 years of Post Partum experience
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • NIHSS
  • RTO must be submitted before submittal
  • NURSYS verification prior to facility start
  • State license verification prior to facility start
  • Background check within 1 year of start, covering all locations lived/worked/in school for the past 7 years
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM clearance prior to facility start
  • HHS/OIG clearance prior to facility start
  • Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
  • Skills checklist
  • 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
  • New York NYS Nurse Aide Registry
  • New York State Medicaid Exclusion List

Preferred

  • PALS is preferred, not required for CCU RN

Additional Compliance / Onboarding

  • Unexpired government-issued photo ID
  • Full physical exam within 12 months of start, signed by a licensed provider
  • Fit test within 12 months of start and updated annually
  • Tdap within the last 10 years or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start
  • Measles and rubella immunity documentation
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
  • Varicella immunity documentation or declination if titer is negative
  • 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
  • COVID vaccine records or declination
  • Annual tuberculosis screening questionnaire
  • Code of conduct acknowledgement
  • Patient abuse reporting acknowledgement
  • Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement
  • Orientation packet and acknowledgements
