Assignment Details

• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Hours per week: 48
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit: High Risk/High Volume L&D
• Unit details: 4 ORs, 31 rooms, 31 beds
• Float scope: Post partum / Antepartum; may also float to sister facilities that do Mother/Baby

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• NRP
• EFM
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with High Risk Labor and Delivery patients
• Experience circulating for C-sections
• Experience with newborn assessment
• Experience assisting with circumcision and assessing the site post-op
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring
• Experience administering Magnesium Sulfate
• Experience administering Heparin
• Experience administering Insulin

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• AWHONN Advanced
• AWHONN Intermediate

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Work every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Pre-approved time off is case by case
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
• The role includes newborn care such as eyes, thighs, assessment, and Vit K injections
