Overview

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Orientation: Bi-weekly
Float: Required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
AWHONN
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule Expectations

On-call: 2 shifts per 6-week schedule period
Weekend coverage: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month

Patient Care Setting

Nurse-patient ratio: 1:1-2 in labor; 1:8 in postpartum/couplets

Time-Off Policy

Holiday time off during listed holiday periods will not be accommodated; requests may be discussed with the manager after arrival onsite using the RTO form.

Additional Notes

Local candidates within 75 miles are paid less than travelers.
