PT Outpatient

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Hermann, Missouri
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekends not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Experience in an Outpatient setting
• Experience caring for traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients
• Experience caring for spinal cord injury patients

Clinical Focus

• Outpatient PT with some acute coverage when needed or when there are no outpatients scheduled
• Will work with patients with ortho, neuro, and cardiac diagnoses, plus post-ortho aftercare and generalized weakness

Skills / Experience

• Home Exercise Program
• Patient/family education
• Assessment body mechanics
• Orthopedics: cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical surgery, post-op shoulder repair, post-op spinal surgery, spinal condition, total hip replacement, total knee replacement
• Neurologic: cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury
