Registered Nurse — Intermediate Care Unit

Location

  • Reno, Nevada

Employment Type

  • Travel

Schedule

  • 3x12 nights
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • No call
  • May include weekends and holidays
  • May be required to float within competency level
  • Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays
  • One additional shift is required during each 4-week schedule period

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Nevada
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
  • Intermediate Care experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS

Preferred Experience

  • Medical/Neuro ICU experience

Unit Overview

  • Intermediate Care Unit with 18 beds
  • Cares for patients with moderately complex needs, including post-ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory conditions
  • Fast-paced environment serving a large regional patient population
