Overview

• Location: Peoria, Illinois
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Evenings, 12-hour shifts
• Hours per week: 48
• Department: ER
• Unit details: Level 1 trauma center, 65 beds, all private, 2 trauma bays

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• BLS
• ACLS
• ENPC or PALS
• TNCC or TNS
• Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience
• 1 prior travel assignment
• SANE RN experience
• Experience working in a teaching hospital with residents

Scheduling

• 12-hour shifts
• Day shift start times: 7a, 8a, 9a
• Mid shift start times: 10a, 11a, 12p, 1p, 3p
• Night shift start time: 7p
• Not day/night rotating
• Travelers are scheduled by the scheduling manager
• Block scheduling may be accommodated
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs
• No call requirement for travelers

Floating

• May be floated to other units as a help-all
• Not expected to take a team on another unit

Additional Notes

• Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Local clinicians receive a reduced bill rate
• Non-billable orientation is 12 hours
• Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
• Scrubs: no specific color; tasteful scrubs with only solid-colored shirts underneath
