Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health (Pediatrics & Adolescents)

Location: San Angelo, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care exclusively for pediatric and adolescent patients aged 5-17.
Prior travel nursing experience is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Behavioral Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Behavioral Health nursing experience.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Prior travel nursing experience required.

Legal name must match exactly on all license documentation, IDs, social security card, and certifications. Proof of name change alone is not sufficient.
Background checks and license verifications must be uploaded with appropriate expiration dates as per facility and agency requirements.
Some certifications may have a grace period for longer-term assignments; check with recruiter or facility for details.
Facility may provide on-site options for certain certifications if not currently held (e.g., NRP Advanced Provider).
Pass/fail remediation offered same day if needed during orientation testing.
