Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care (Urogynecology)

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Work primarily in ambulatory care with a focus on urogynecology.
Training will occur at designated locations before splitting time between two outpatient sites (2 days/week at one site, 2-3 days/week at another).
Responsibilities include catheter insertion/removal, phone triage, and ambulatory/outpatient nursing duties.
Preferred experience includes women's health/pelvic floor urogynecology, procedure assistance, urodynamics, and PTNS.
Must be able to function independently.
Charting is done using Cerner electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 2 years of ambulatory care experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Experience in an outpatient setting.
Completion of at least 1 prior travel nursing assignment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience with catheter insertion and removal.
