Job Overview

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
Call: Up to 4 call shifts per month
Weekend requirement: Up to 1 working weekend shift every 4 weeks
Holiday requirement: Must work at least one holiday period
Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units/sister facilities
First-timers accepted: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Radiation Badge
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Work Setting

Level I trauma center
Teaching facility
Magnet hospital
Main operating room with 21 OR suites covering multiple surgical specialties

Additional Notes

Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis
Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval
Charting system: EPIC
Parking: $20 registration fee for a garage hang tag
During hurricane season, staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
