Labor and Delivery Nurse

Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Hagerstown, Maryland
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 20 weeks

Unit Details

• Must be comfortable working on LDRP and rotating between labor, triage, and mother-baby postpartum care
• Postpartum nurses take 3–4 couplets
• Labor assignment is 1–2 patients
• Mother-baby coverage is included

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP
• AWHONN
• FHM

Preferred Qualifications

• OB surgical recovery / C-section experience

Schedule Notes

• On-call hours are based on staffing and typically total 16–20 hours in a 6-week schedule
• Some staff may choose extra weekend and weekday shifts instead of call

• Proof of state residency is required for compact license use
