Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR
Location
- Detroit, Michigan
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
- Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
- Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
Work Schedule
- Shift options: 6am-2:30pm, 6am-4:30pm, or 6am-6:30pm.
- Scheduling options include five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts, all starting at 6am.
- Block schedule with on-call requirement: 48 hours of call per six-week schedule.
- Must be available for on-call duty one weekend per month.
- Typical workweek: 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- CVOR experience within the last year, with a minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

- Clinical knowledge and analytical ability to develop effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
