RN - OR - Travel

Overview

• Location: Summit, New Jersey
• Schedule: 12-hour day shift
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 8 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments across the lifespan
• Provide direct perioperative nursing care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow patient safety protocols and universal precautions
• Support surgical patient care, including procedure- and anesthesia-specific needs
• Direct and prioritize patient care based on changing patient condition
• Complete pre-operative and postoperative assessments and patient education
• Support Pre Admission Testing evaluation and order review

• Must be able to scrub and circulate on robotics, orthopedics, neurology, and general surgery
