Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description

Work on a high acuity Surgery Trauma floor
Patient population includes spinal neuro trauma, surgical cases, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic patients
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
Support staff includes nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and a night unit secretary
Nurse handoff completed with ED nurse and admitting unit
Must be willing to work given shifts; no block schedules

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Surgery Trauma specialty
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system required
Valid RN license in the state of Georgia

Additional Information

No return to office (RTO) requirement
