Overview

  • Travel assignment in Clyde, North Carolina
  • 12-week contract
  • 1 opening
  • Day shift
  • 36/40 guaranteed hours per week
  • 6 ORs and 1 CSOR
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • 1st floor

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Ability to circulate

Schedule and Call

  • Variable weekend on-call
  • 2nd call one weekend a month
  • 1st/2nd call 2 per pay period

Unit and Case Mix

  • OR cases include Ortho, GYN, GEN, Urology, Plastics, Spine, Podiatry, ENT, and Optho surgeries

Additional Notes

  • EHR: Paragon
  • Equipment: multiple standard OR pieces of equipment

Pros

Friendly surgeons and staff. Small hospital, not real busy, OSC in walking distance, good cafeteria, beautiful location, nice fitness center next door. They hire a lot of travelers!

Cons

Terrible….TERRIBLE SPD!! Sterile Processing Dpt. They hire a lot of travelers!!
