Overview

• Travel RN role based in Mission FSED.
• Unit has 11 beds.
• Patient ratio is 1:4.
• Schedule includes every other weekend.
• Hours per week: 36.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Proficiency with tough sticks
• Proficiency with large bore IVs
• Proficiency with blood cultures
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• CPI
• TNCC
• ENPC
• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 2 years of ED/FSED experience
• Ability to work with minimal oversight

Unit Details

• Equipment includes trauma, POC lab, and precipitous delivery.
• Typical procedures include POC lab and emergency response procedures.
• Floating area: FSED’s/ED.
• Emergency protocols include code blue, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis.
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs.
