Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Travel Position

Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia
Unit: Perinatology Clinic

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 hours (Mon-Thur, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Unit Staffing: MFM Sonographers, RNs, Administrative Assistants
• Equipment Used: GE Expert 22 ultrasound machines, Corometric fetal monitors
• Documentation Systems: Viewpoint, Meditech Expanse
• Floating Policy: None
• Dress Code: Navy or Royal scrubs

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (S) or ARDMS Certification
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography
• Experience in Fetal Echocardiography
• Ability to pass a skills assessment for sonography or demonstrate knowledge of USP 800 guidelines for hazardous drugs
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
