Registered Nurse – OB/GYN (Labor & Delivery)

Location: Mayfield, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit & Patient Population

Unit: Labor and Delivery
Number of Beds: 8
Patient Population: Obstetrics, Nursery, Occasional Gynecology Surgery, Occasional Breast Reduction, Abdominoplasty
Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN Standards
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: MediTech

Work Schedule & Requirements

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
Call Requirements: As Needed
Float Requirements: As Needed
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; no casual wear

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Experience in OB/GYN nursing
Experience in charge nurse roles in Labor and Delivery settings
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and HWC
Knowledge of and adherence to AWHONN standards
