Med Surg/Tele RN

Overview

• 13-week contract
• Location: Kingman, Arizona
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per day
• 36 hours per week

Role

• Med Surg/Tele RN caring for 5 to 6 in-patient medical/surgical patients

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• ACLS
• BLS
• At least 1 year of acute care experience
• EKG competent
• Meditech experience required

Schedule

• Must be willing to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week

Float Scope

• May float to all med surg remote tele units on the 2nd and 3rd floors
• Occasional float to PCU is required if needed

Unit Details

• 2nd floor units: 2E (20), 2S (14), 2C (23), 2N (17)
• 3rd floor units: CDU (20), 3N (20), 3S (23)

Work Environment

• Up to one other nurse and LNA/UC on the unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5-6:1
• Equipment includes Pyxis medication station, Meditech charting, Alariz IV pumps, and remote telemetry system

Orientation

• 12 hours of non-billable orientation
• 2 to 3 shifts of floor orientation
• Must attend 8 hours of hospital orientation on a Monday

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Client may call off or cancel up to one shift per two weeks
• Dress code: Navy blue
