Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience and RT or RCIS certification to join a 24/7 cardiac catheterization lab.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
- Monday-Friday day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 10-11 call shifts per month required, including rotating weekends
- Provides shared on-call coverage for a 24/7 cath lab
- Operates diagnostic imaging equipment during procedures
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- RT or RCIS certification required
- MIRT license required
- License required if applicable
- ACLS and CPR-AHA certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Performs scrub tech functions to assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons
- Performs hemodynamic monitoring and documents procedures during cases
Additional Information
- Must have a break of at least 6 months since last employment with any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, perm, or per diem)
- Pass/Fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing required
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility unless approved as a local hire
