Description
American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN for a pediatric cardiac operating room role requiring Epic experience and FL or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
- Performs complex pediatric congenital cardiac procedures including ASD/VSD repair, Norwood/Glenn/Fontan, TAPVR, ECMO, central shunts, arterial switch, arch reconstruction, valve repair/replacement, and heart transplantation
- Schedule of M-F, working (4) 10-hour shifts or (3) 12-hour shifts with a 6 AM start time
- Requires weekday and weekend cardiac call, approximately 10-12 shifts within a 28-day scheduling period
- Required call response time of 30 minutes
- May float to areas of similar skill set, including thoracic
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Circulating case experience preferred
- Scrub experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide perioperative nursing care for complex pediatric cardiac surgical procedures
- Coverage required for one major holiday
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
