Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Sonographer with 2+ years current experience and RDCS or CCI certification to perform outpatient echocardiography.

Details

Outpatient cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) setting
M-F schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
Uses Epic EMR
Stress echo room experience highly preferred

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years current Cardiovascular Sonographer/Echocardiographer experience required
BLS certification required
RDCS certified through ARDMS, or RCS, ACS, or RCCS certified through CCI required
License required if applicable
Epic EMR experience required
Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program
CPR skills required for emergency cardiac care

Additional Information

Deliver pre- and post-procedure patient care including patient assessment and emergency cardiac care
Assist with post-procedure patient transport as needed
Calibrate and maintain equipment daily, perform quality assurance monitoring, and troubleshoot equipment issues
Generate ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular structures
May perform staff training and education
Monitor and record patient information, maintain data systems, and manage charge entry and reporting
Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use between procedures
