Position Overview:

• Provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and intermediate-care setting.
• Float to Medical-Surgical Intermediate (MSI) units as needed, including other departments or facilities.
• Care for patients with cardiac, vascular, neurological, renal, respiratory, and infectious conditions.
• Manage pre/post cardiac catheterization patients and femoral access/groin sites.
• Community hospital experience required.
• Holiday shifts and charge nurse assignments may be required based on unit needs.
• Weekend requirement: Minimum 4 shifts per 6 weeks in the job requirements; the overview specifies 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period. Confirm the applicable requirement with the facility.
• No on-call requirement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Community hospital experience required.
• BLS and NIHSS required.
• ACLS and CPI preferred.
• Missouri or Compact RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.

• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
• Up to 2 RTO requests listed.
• No block scheduling.
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility.
• Flu vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions only.
• Navy scrubs.
