Location: Rochester, New York

Schedule: 4x12 Night shifts, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Hematology/Oncology unit with developing bone marrow transplant (BMT) program
• 36-bed fast-paced, high acuity unit caring for patients receiving chemotherapy, recovering counts, and managing chemo side effects
• 528-bed tertiary care facility with Epic charting system
• Cross-training opportunity in MICU to support BMT population
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 13-week contract with up to 20 hours of orientation

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required at time of submission
• Oncology experience required; chemo certification strongly preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; previous travel experience required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, port management, chemotherapy administration, and blood product administration preferred
