Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract assignment, every other weekend
Highlights:
- 34-bed Ortho/Trauma telemetry unit with 5:1 to 6:1 patient ratios
- No on-call requirements
- MediTech EMR system; GE telemetry monitoring and Welch Allyn vital signs equipment
- Typical procedures include wound vac management, CPM machines, external fixation, and bracing
- Award-winning team including ICARE and multiple Daisy Award winners
- Night shift support includes charge nurse, 6 nurses, and 2 patient care technicians
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Medical/Surgical and Telemetry experience required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
