Description
Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 12-hour rotations (primarily 6:40am-7:10pm x3 weekly, with potential for one 9:40am-10:10pm biweekly). Weekend rotation and weekday call required.
Highlights:
- Tier 5 surgical cases including kidney and pancreas transplants, urological and gynecological robotic surgery with Da Vinci Xi system
- Diverse case mix: nephrectomy, HOLEP, cystectomy, ureteroscopy, laparoscopic gynecology, hysterectomy, anterior/posterior repair, and organ procurement
- Epic charting system in a Magnet-designated facility ranked #1 in Wisconsin
- Work with a leading academic medical center recognized as one of the nation's top teaching institutions and referral centers
- Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment
- Opportunity to care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Requirements:
- Active RN License required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care OR experience within the last 3 years in relevant specialty
- Must have demonstrated experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery
- Epic charting system experience required
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Must pass telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
- Willingness to float as needed
