Opportunity:

RN - NVICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 16-bed Neuro Vascular ICU with patient ratios of 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and staffing
• Minimum weekend requirement of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Self-scheduling available to an extent with manager adjustments to balance the schedule
• Contract labor is first to float; may be required to float to med/surg and take full assignment if staffing need arises
• Required to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members
• Work with equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000
• Document using Meditech system
• Perform and assist with procedures including insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions
• Active RN license required
• ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required dress code: Navy scrubs, tops and bottoms

The facility utilizes advanced medical technology and equipment to deliver high-acuity critical care. The unit maintains a structured scheduling system designed to ensure appropriate staffing and patient coverage at all times.
