Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care - (RRT - PICU)
StartDate: 2/2/2026 Available Shifts: 8 N Pay Rate: $2467.00 - $2543.00

Travel RRT or CRT jobs in Des Moines, IA offer night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, working 36 hours per week with every third weekend and holiday rotation. You will provide respiratory care for all ages, primarily in PICU or NICU, and may be cross-trained to assist on the general pediatric floor. Responsibilities include using HFOV, Jet, and Servo U ventilators, performing power injection contrast injections, and floating across multiple campuses as needed. Required qualifications are three or more years of hospital or medical center experience, PICU or NICU experience, Iowa RCP license, BLS (AHA), NRP or PALS certification, and CRT credentials are accepted. References: 1 Reference in entire work history PICU or NICU experience - may work across picu/nicu floor (Candidate will be cross trained on general Pediatric floor to assist when needed
